Because the introduction of the GentleWave procedure has been so transformative to my practice, I want to share examples of my cases utilizing this technology. What I have found with GentleWave is that accessory anatomy is cleaned and sealed with much higher frequency. Accessory anatomy are minute and intricate fins, isthmuses, lateral canals, curvatures, multiple exits, and more.
Prior to GentleWave, these types of anatomies may have been visualized once every 50 cases. With GentleWave, I am seeing this type of anatomy every 10 cases, at least. My feeling is that you don't know what you don't see. Without GentleWave, there is no way of knowing exactly what you're missing. If you aren't able to clean and seal this type of anatomy, the root canal is likely going to result in failure.
When viewing the cases below, please pay attention to the highlighted arrows and circles. The intricacies can be very small and difficult to appreciate, however they are exteremely impactful on cases success.
